I'll be in the 5th row, tried so hard to get the first. My best friend and sister are flying in from 2 different states for the big event, we will have our make up & hair styled like 50's pin ups, hopefully Dolly will see us.. x

hi Alicia, I think I definitely fit this description, I have been a fan since I was 8 years old, 29 years now, I flew to America in 2007 to see my lifelong dream of seeing Dolly perform in her hometown, it was after a diagnosis of kidney disease & I wanted to see Dolly whilst I was still well enough, doctors advised against it but I went anyway. I ended up getting really sick whilst over there but wouldn't change a thing. I am attending 2 of her concerts in November, have a huge collection of all things dolly & a YouTube site Dollyaddict dedicated to this beautiful unprecedented lady I love so much, the ultimate would be to meet her & I think

Dolly was amazing tonight....absolutely flawless! The new songs blended with the old songs and she really showed Sydney "how it's done"! The compacity crowd were loving Dolly and from what I was hearing, she did not dissapoint anyone!!! GO DOLLY! Looking forward to the next concert!
After a good 20 years + since she last graced our shores, it could have been 20 minutes! From start to finish she treated the stage like an art work, not only covering each inch of the canvas with hit after hit, but a few master brush strokes with fan favorites (I almost wet my pants when she sung "baby I'm burning")
Dolly was amazing - engaging and delightful every single moment during the performance. Playing guitars, penny whistles, piano, and more the only thing more impressive than her abilities was her voice. Flawless in every note. I've never been a huge fan of the song "little sparrow" although hearing it live tonight, I was spell bound.
The highlights for me... Too many to mention... But will say that seeing her live, finally, was everything and more that I could have ever have imagined. Whilst DVDs give an insight to what a great show she puts on, nothing compares with being there.
The low light... Sydney audiences. I hate them. I was told to sit down numerous times by a pig headed security guard. I paid my money to dance and enjoy myself (for the uptempo songs... I understand and respect and welcome sitting down for the slower ballad ones) but just the attitude of the crowd (most... Not all - especially the true fans) is just disgusting. I've been to many concerts over seas (not dolly... But Madonna for example) and whilst I understand they differ in style and genre, I really believe that those who have paid their money and want to dance should be able to without the threat of being kicked out and repremanded by security.
But enough of all that... Dolly, thank you for giving me and my 3 friends a wonderful memory to carry with us forever. For 2 hours you provided great music, comedy, inspiration and pure bliss! I was already a fan before tonight... But now I am a devotee!
Hope everyone else enjoyed themselves, will post photos in the morning, and just incase any of you are interested or remember... I'm the one who screamed out "I love you dolly!!!!!" and she replied... I thought I told you to wait in the truck out back!!!! Such a highlight!!!!

What an amazing experience. To have lived my life thus far being influenced and guided by your inspirational music is what has kept me true to myself. To have now been given the opportunity to meet you - left me speechless - literally. I tried to say something real, but could only manage tears - which you graciously wiped away.(despite your words of comfort I still managed to feel a teeny bit embarrassed) Dolly your epitomize True Human Goodness and last night I witnessed this very influence with your fans. What a privilege it was for me to be a part of this experience. Thank You Dolly for sharing your gift. What a brilliant and funfilled show. Dolly sounded and looked fabulous and was so much fun to clap and dance alongside fellow country music fans.
Her instrumental talent simply knocked me out :) and her stories of childhood and life, was a joy to hear and laugh about. If you are considering going to a show, STOP AND GO NOW. You will NOT be disappointed XXX

I was lucky to win a meet and greet. there were only 16 of us, I made friends with a group of 3 with wich we had a photo together. even though we were very nervous waiting to see Dolly, we were taken to an underground parking where her bus was, we saw Dolly for around 15 minutes and were only allowed 1 photo and a few words with her. She looked amazing and loving as always, even though it was very rushed it was amazing to spend that small time with her, it will remain in my memory for ever. Dolly I Love you know more than ever.................

I can still feel Dolly's hand touching mine and her gripping my fingers with her fingers as we had the photo taken. Was truly a magical night...and I will never forget her singing a few lines of YELLOW ROSES softly to me as we posed with the roses I gave her! I have been smiling since last night and have not stopped all day!!!!
