I am very excited to see Dolly so close to home, I was lucky enough to see her at Marty Stuart's Late Night Jam in June. My guest is Dr Sharon Buckwald who met Dolly at Children's Hospital in Buffalo NY over 20 years ago. Dr Buckwald is a neonatologist in Greenville, NC now. She keeps the picture of Dolly and herself in her office at the School of Medicine where she takes care of sick infants.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to shoot out a quick message to let everyone know that meet and greet winners for the Durham show have been selected and notified via email. If you did not receive an email with the subject "Congratulations" along with the venue meet and greet information, you are not one of our winners. We are still working out some issues with the new web system. I don't believe the system is sending out the "You were not selected" emails to those who applied and weren't chosen. Don't want to leave anybody hanging. Woohoo. The Wolf Trap is a beautiful venue. REALLY looking forward to the show tonight!!

Thought meet and greets where for fans.. All i see in the meet and greet photos are. Dollys band and there family,security and there family and people that work at the venue... Very few Dolly fans.. I wonder if all those people paid there fan club dues???? NOT
I have to agree...it is ridiculous that more members of the fan club are not selected for the M&G, especially since she doesn't autograph anything. Since they use their own photographer, pictures shouldn't take too long. It is frustrating that those of us who have supported Dolly over the years aren't selected. I know it isn't a given, but nothing has seemed too fair thus far.

True she should meet more fans.. They run you through like cattle anyway..It wanted take much longer for her to meet more fans.. She could get off her bus for alittle while..

Well even though I didn't get to meet Dolly that night (though it wasn't from lack of trying!!) I got to talk to some of the fans that did get to and to those of you who did, I'm really happy for you!! It was great to see your faces afterwards. I would be the same way if I ever got the chance. Good for you all :-)
