hehe i've had Dolly fever for 30 years! and i'm only 36!....omg i wasn't going to say anymore due to blabbering but oh well.....wooohooo! i can't wait to see her sing...my dilema is i've only been to one concert in my life and that was couple of years ago and it was Pink...it was great but i didn't stay the whole show cause i kind of freak out with that much people surrounding me. However i think if i concentrate hard enough on Dolly and the music i'm hoping i'll be ok! also applied for a meet&greet... not holding my breath though ;( but good luck to everyone who has applied for one!

I think we need a Dolly calendar to count the days down...so close now, so excited..
I so wish I was able to go to more shows :) but one show is better than none...it will be a night that lives in the memory forever!

i'm sooo nervous..i have plastered myself to my seat and i'm gonna sit here until i know either way whether i've won a meet and greet!! i feel like i'm gonna have a panic attack lol sooo what does one do when their biggest and only dream does come true? whether i meet her or not it is the last and only chance i will get to see her live and that has been my only dream in 30 years...what am i gonna do afterwards? lol no idea, no other dream will be as big, just little goals...what would you guys do if your only dream came true and you wanted nothing else?

I am checking my mail so often, and its not easy to do with my fingers crossed :) Like everyone, I'm so excited, nervous and anxious and just praying that I might get to meet the lovely Dolly in person, but the wait is nearly over for us...and before we know it, it will be show night :)

We are going to turn up about 5pm to ensure that we know where to pick up our Pass. But, they say to be there about 6.30. We are gonna turn up early because I noticed that some people at the hunter valley show could not find where to go for the meet and greet and we want to make sure. See you there!!!! We will be in loud Shirts, Glitter and Glam!!!! :)

So sorry to hear you didnt get a meet & greet, from what i understand, time is very limited with the meet & greets, like down to a few seconds.
Maybe you could perhaps ask the security people at the oncert if they would be able to pass your item to Dolly? I think there is usually a small fence type thing constructed that makes it impossible to reach up to the stage, but perhaps Security might be able to pass the item on for you? worth asking them for sure..
I hope you have a fantastic time at the show, did you get good seats?

Thanks Kyle, Know that it is very quick, got to do one with Kenny Rogers the last time he was here and you dont get much time at all. I'm in section S9 row 3 so guessing about middle of the stage roughly. That was my idea to give it to the bouncer but thought if she knew it was coming may have a change to pass to the bounce and they pass it straight to her so she may get to see who its from.
You are so lucky enjoy every second you get with her. Have you got good seats? Cant wait one more sleep woo hoo!!!!!

Hey I just heard something about there being train breakdowns today and that there is a lot of traffic on the roads (people having to drive to work etc) So it might pay to leave as early as you can, i would give yourself at least an hour as the Gateway can be pretty busy at the best of times. Are there other roads that can get you there? Sorry I'm not too familiar with the area.

Wholey cripes!!!! what a night....and gosh she is just beautifull....and i got to tell you if it was up to her i think she would chose to talk to people for longer because as it was her manager was behind her gesturing for me to get the hell out of there but Dolly couldn't see him so i was in two minds (do what he was telling me to do or stay and chat to Dolly more)then as i was walking away she grabbed my hand to talk more so she must think i'm some rude cow lol because i left while we were still talking >< man her manager needs to not strees so much!!!!! but far out what a night...will never forget it....and boy is she taller then i thought she was...amazing. and the concert was brilliant, i think her mic might have been pitched up a bit though unless that is how she sounds live normally bloomin brilliant voice

oh hey also the whole night i was busting at the seams to get up and dance and i'm not sure if this happens at the other concerts over here but the brisbane crowd was really subdude and only got up to dance at the end!!!!!So i think tomorrow night i'm gonna dance my heart out and not care what people think lol

Hi Kyle I'm from Dunedin Nz, got the meet and greet (yahoo) and am arriving this evening for the concert tomorrow night. Would you mind telling me how difficult it is to find the window for meeting and what time you arrived? Were you able to give gifts, flowers or is that out of the question? Sorry to be a pest. Its just I arrive late and leave to come home the following morning at 5.30 and cant get any information regarding site plans. I am so pleased you loved the concert and would be really grateful for your help.

well i'm not Kyle but will answer anyway lol....us Dollyites met inside just in front of the tecketek store...we spoke to those people and they had no idea what we were talking about basically.....the people at the centre really don't know anything about it i guess it's just not their job....anyway a lady not a man lol came up to us about 7 o'clock and said we'll go down to admin in about 15 mins....it actually took ages for it to all happen and they really cut the time fine....like at 7.30 i was thinknig to myself how the hells is Dolly just gonna chill out before her concert but i guess she did all that before meeting us....oh and make sure you make someone get you the passes....just kep asking people stuff if other people don't know what you talking about... last night people handed her flowers and such then i think she passes them on to her manager...have fun tonight i'll look out for you guys when i get there as i'll probably get there early again anyway so i can sit down outside and ponder the existence of the universe lol
