Hello to all you wonderful Dolly fans out there!
I would like to share my extraordinary experience of meeting the iconic Dolly Parton this summer in Concord, CA with you. I have just posted the whole story to my blog, along with some photos and videos I took at the concert (sixth row seats!)
I spent a large portion of today and yesterday writing this post, and a little more than a month and a half later, I am pleased to finally have written it. I hope you will take the time to check it out, and if so, do not be shy. Leave a comment or a kind word!

Wow! Absolutely and nicely
Wow! Absolutely and nicely well done! Sorry. But had to read this. Love the site that picked "Yellow Brick Journey"!
Dolly is truly amazing! Beautiful and loving close up, even if it is all done in a short time.
Glad that you were able to get this all up so well! :) Thank you, and double thank you!!
By the way, I too saw Richard
By the way, I too saw Richard Dennison backstage. Obviously very happy and charming guy! ;) He was whistling a tune and checking behind two of the doors before Dolly came out, saying back at us smaller group of fans standing there, "Dolly´s back there!" before going on. Have to smile. Funny guy!
Hi Butterfly Girl! Thank YOU
Hi Butterfly Girl!
Thank YOU for taking the time to read and comment on my blog. I came up with the name Yellow Brick Journey myself as a metaphor for my own life's journey.
And there is no need to be sorry. I put it out there to share with other fans, and I'm truly thankful that you read it and left such positive feedback!!
Also, I am very happy you also had the chance to meet Dolly. Your photo looks wonderful!! Very happy to hear from you!
Blessings-
Ronnie
Interesting on your take on
Interesting on your take on life at the end. Yes, Dolly is sort of a Glinda in Wizard of Oz, isn´t she? (Always loved the movie, was one of the first I saw as a child.)
Like Glinda, she certainly shines when she comes into the room! :) And, she also tries to help who ever is around her believe. I still remember her lightly rubbing my back a bit during the hug and the kindness in her voice. Sweet sweet voice!
HI Ronnie - GREAT story. I
