Happy New Year

Hi everyone. I just want to wish you all a very happy, healthy and stress-free 2013. As Dolly once sang - 'Dreams do come true' and I hope this is the year that will see all your dreams come true.

Its nice to see the website back under 'fan' control lol. We just need Dolly to provide us with a few scraps now and again - the odd video clip would be nice too.

Have you managed to get your update feature working yet Suzanne - if you don't reply I will take that as a no. You can reply by starting a new blog of course.

Take care all of you and try to keep warm - unless you are lucky enough to live in Australia and soaking up that lovely sunshine.

Hi Mary

Happy New Year to you too yes finally up and running took your advice and sent Luke a message and this reply box appeared today so i guess its all fixed. I'd rather be trying to keep warm I really dislike the hot weather you can always get warm but theres only so many clothes you can take off to try and keep cool and i work in a big metal shed which is basically an oven in the summer. Hope you had an enjoyable christmas and finally got to read Dolly's book did you get it on CD as well?

Hi Suzanne Glad that you are

Hi Suzanne

Glad that you are up and running again. I know you guys are melting in the heat and you are right - there are always ways to keep warm but it's not so easy to stay cool. I have severe joint and mobility problems and the cold affects me badly - I thing everything is worse when muscles tense in response to the cold (so I stay in a lot - bit like an hedgehog lol. But it is much worse in extreme heat - all my joints swell and I just don't know what to do with myself - stick my nose into a book is the best I can do.

On that subject - yes, I finally got the Dolly book and the CD. I love the feel of a book and really enjoyed reading Dolly's book but there was a special magic as I listened to Dolly read it to me.

Take care and try to keep cool. It's one thing if you are sat beside a pool with a long cool drink in your hand - it's quite another story if you are trying to work through it all.
