It appears that many of you guys share my concerns about the amount of advertising the site is being subjected to. We need a separate section where those wanting to advertise are able and, more importantly, those wishing to view the adverts can do so.

Does anyone have any idea how we can report our concerns to dollypartonmusic.net. We used to be able to contact Laura but I can no longer find that link in the new style environment. Either they do not keep an eye on the content of the input or they don't care that it is losing its integrity.

One or two of you have even mentioned that you may not renew membership. I agree and it would be a shame to see such an ineresting group break up.

if you click on LauraE's profile there is an option there to send a private message....i don't think she has been on for a little while...either she is really ill at the moment or she is on holidays and no one has taken over while she is gone....though in saying that....this has been going on since the tour started. good luck with your message ;)

I dont think they are allowing them as much as they are being hijacked and am sure once everybody gets back to it they will vanish ..but we have all been hijacked by spammers and viruses

Very true and the Dolly team have been extremely busy for the last 12 months. I guess they need a better web protection - mine works ok but of course I daren't say the name of it after saying so much about adverts - lol.

Have been deleting adverts

Have been deleting adverts under blogs and comments...will continue to monitor. I discussed the issue with our web company and was told that companies pay people to create accounts on artists' websites and post spam. It is hard for the system itself to catch these posts because it actually is a real person. If possible, please send me a message with the username when you see a spam posting. I will continue to work to block these users. Thank you, Laura
