Hello Dollyites-
We want to thank you for continuing to be such loyal fans of Dolly over the years. We hope you have thoroughly enjoyed using the Dollyites fan club as a way to connect with other fans and engage on the latest happenings with Dolly's music!
With the great advancements and popularity on other social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, we have decided to discontinue the paid Dollyites fan club beginning March 5th, 2013. All members who have placed an order for a new membership or have renewed their memberships on or after January 1st, 2013 will be fully refunded their membership fees. Users who have memberships beginning before January 1st, 2013 will be able to continue using their memberships through the duration of their original membership period. Please back up any information hosted on the Dollyites site as it will be permanently removed after the final membership has expired.
All future contesting, including meet & greet giveaways, will take place through Dolly's official Facebook page (http://facebook.com/DollyParton) as well as Dolly's official Twitter page (http://twitter.com/Dolly_Parton).
We encourage you to stay connected via other social media outlets. If you should have any questions or concerns about this process, please email info@ctkmgmt.com and include the email address associated with your Dollyites account.

awww....so sad....although i'll always be a Dollyite at heart! i don't post much on the facebook page but hope to see some of the names here over there....take care everyone ;)
It is indeed a very sad time.
It is indeed a very sad time. I think that we all knew it was coming to an end. The responses just were not there. Some member tried really hard to generate interest. The final straw was all the adverts that started to appear on the site. Anyway I would like to say a big thank you to everyone for making the site so enjoyable over the years and I wish you all much love and happiness in the future. I know you will all follow our Dolly in one way or another so we may chat again on one site or another - Bye for now y'all.

Just noticed now. I really enjoyed everyone here. I will sure miss it. A little heartbroken. I don't really like when a club disbands.
Why have you decided this? I hope nothing is wrong.
