A poem I wrote ...

I'm In Here!!

From childhood to 20 takes forever it seems!
Planning and hoping for all of your dreams.

At 20 and 30 so busy with life ... raising
your children... working with all of your might.

At 40 and 50 you look back on years ... thank
GOD for forgiveness and keeping me near.

This body gets older but inside I'm the same.
I'd do so much more if not for the pain.

It breaks my heart for the old and the weak,
Broken and tired bodies yet their spirits
still speak ...

I'm in here I'm in here don't forget about me!
I may not can hear well and I may not can see.
But my spirit is young though my body is frail
I'm in here I'm in here though you might not
can tell !!

I'm full of lifes wisdom because I've
lived a long time ... I have stories to share
of a savior divine!!

Jesus has saved me and never left me alone.
This body is weak but my spirit is strong.

So I will just praise him and sing him a song
until he comes for me to take me on home.

I'm in here I'm in here don't forget about me.
My spirit is young it's my body that's weak.
I'm praising the Lord... he's never left me!!
I'm going to Heaven .. you just wait and see!!
