Hey Everyone!

Sorry for the wait, but I wanted to let the new website launch before we opened meet and greet applications for the tour. If you go to the tour page, each show with a "Request Meet and Greet" button beside the tour date, is OPEN for member registrations.

The NEW Meet & Greet Rules and Regulations are as follows:

WHAT IS A MEET AND GREET?
A meet and greet is an event held before most Dolly Parton shows exclusively for invited guests, including selected Dollyite Member winners! This is an opportunity to go backstage for a photo with Dolly! Personal cameras and items for autograph will NOT be allowed backstage.

HOW DO I REQUEST A MEET AND GREET?
Dollyite Members must register via the DollyPartonMusic.net tour page when the meet and greet application for their desired show is OPEN. Requests will remain open until 2 days before the show date. Two (2) to Ten (10) members will be chosen at random. Visit the Tour Page often for updated information.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO WIN A MEET AND GREET & HOW ARE THEY SELECTED?
Dollyite members are chosen at random from the submitted registrations to attend each meet and greet session. To be eligible for the random drawing, Members must register during the OPEN period designated for each show on the Tour page of dollypartonmusic.net AND be a current Dollyite member at the time of the show. They must also have a concert ticket to the show they are applying for to gain entrance into the venue.

Due to limited space, guests are not allowed to accompany Dollyite members to the meet and greet. Winners attending the show with young children should arrange for alternate childcare during the meet and greet time. (Please note: Children under the age of 13 selected to attend a meet and greet may bring one adult escort.) All adults should be prepared to show a valid photo ID in order to gain entrance to the meet and greet.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I WAS SELECTED TO ATTEND?
Meet and greet registration eligibility will be listed on the Tour page of dollyparton.net. Please refer to that page often for all of the latest information. All winning applicants will be sent a notification e-mail confirming they have been selected for the meet and greet. Applicants who have not been chosen, will not be sent any notification.

HOW MANY MEET AND GREETS CAN A MEMBER ATTEND?
Each Dollyite member is eligible to win one (1) meet and greet pass per membership year at a participating Dolly Parton concert appearance. You may register for as many shows as you wish until you are selected. However, once your name has been drawn you will not be eligible to win another meet and greet until your next membership year begins. There is no guarantee that you will be selected for a meet and greet during your membership year.

IF I’M SELECTED FOR A MEET AND GREET, HOW DO I GET MY PHOTO OF DOLLY?
Instructions will be emailed to you on how to retrieve your meet and greet photo with Dolly. Photos will be taken by the tour photographer.

IS THE MEET AND GREET HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE?
Every effort is made to ensure that each meet and greet will be able to accommodate members with limited mobility or who are in wheelchairs. If you are selected to attend a meet and greet and will need special assistance, please e-mail info@dollypartonmusic.net at least two weeks prior to the show date.

Hi all

if anyone has been lucky enough to win a meet and greet for Cardiff tonight (4th September) i hope this blog is of some help...

i was lucky enough to win a meet and greet for last night).......got to the box office at 5.45 to get our passes only to be told by a very abrupt & very unhelpful girl that i should be here at 6pm no sooner and someone will meet us.......

well we got there dead on 6, nobody came, doors opened at 6.30 (box office closed)........luckly enough we explained to staff who were scanning peoples tickets going in and they were able to find someone who could help......

the lady who helped us found out that the passes were at the box office and had been there all day ready for pick up at any time and that the box office staff were aware of this....unfortunatly the lady at the box office was either just being unhelpful or didn't know.......it took a good part of an hour to sort out.....

eventualy we were taken to Dolly at 7.30 which was a bit of a rush as the show starting at 8....all i can say is wow what a wonderful lady and the meet was out of this world....

my advice is get to the box office by 6 (latest as it close at 6) ), get your pass (push for it just in case it's the same lady we had) stay in the box office area, if nobody comes for you go in when the doors open at 6.30 (go into through the door at the box office area) ...make yourself known to the staff as soon as you get your ticket scanned and they will advise where to wait until someone comes for you..............if there are no signs of anyone coming get a member of staff to find out whats happening.......if we hadn't i'm sure the meet and greet wouldn't have happened.

Dolly's staff couldn't apologise enough and had been concerned as to why nobody had turned up for the meet and greet.....they gave us the impression that it was all down to the motorpoint arena staff....

I got a meet and greet and my picture was not posted. Do you know what i can do about it? I'm very disappointed.
