Meet N' Greets

I'm not too happy about changing the site right before her tour starts. Where do we go now to find out about Meet N' Greets? The information used to be posted next to the tour dates and now I can't find anything about it. Please let me know if anyone finds where that information is now on the new website.

I don't mind change, in fact, I like it. I just don't like the fact they changed the site right when she is going on tour as I don't know my way around and I can't find anything now about the Meet N' Greets and LauraE informed me that Meet N' Greets will be available for the Minnesota show and details would be sent out shortly before she goes on tour. She starts her tour this Sunday and I have not seen or heard anything.

I like the whole look of this site a lot better than the old one, but I do not like this blog thing. The old message boards were nice and organized by category and were much easier to read through. This is much more confusing. Just want to give my input - thanks for all the info and hard work though that goes into all of this :)

If you are lucky to get a Meet and Greet, it is only for you and not your guest. See the first sentence of the second paragraph from the rules on the webisite:

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO WIN A MEET AND GREET & HOW ARE THEY SELECTED?
Dollyite members are chosen at random from the submitted registrations to attend each meet and greet session. To be eligible for the random drawing, Members must register during the OPEN period designated for each show on the Tour page of dollypartonmusic.net AND be a current Dollyite member at the time of the show. They must also have a concert ticket to the show they are applying for to gain entrance into the venue.

Due to limited space, guests are not allowed to accompany Dollyite members to the meet and greet. Winners attending the show with young children should arrange for alternate childcare during the meet and greet time. (Please note: Children under the age of 13 selected to attend a meet and greet may bring one adult escort.) All adults should be prepared to show a valid photo ID in order to gain entrance to the meet and greet.

How do I go about submitting my registration for a meet and greet? It shows that I too am not elgible whenever I click into the meet and greet under a show. I would really hate missing even just a chance to get to see her, may be shake her hand even, just because of a simple mishap with the new website.

Hi all

if anyone has been lucky enough to win a meet and greet for Cardiff tonight (4th September) i hope this blog is of some help...

i was lucky enough to win a meet and greet for last night).......got to the box office at 5.45 to get our passes only to be told by a very abrupt & very unhelpful girl that i should be here at 6pm no sooner and someone will meet us.......

well we got there dead on 6, nobody came, doors opened at 6.30 (box office closed)........luckly enough we explained to staff who were scanning peoples tickets going in and they were able to find someone who could help......

the lady who helped us found out that the passes were at the box office and had been there all day ready for pick up at any time and that the box office staff were aware of this....unfortunatly the lady at the box office was either just being unhelpful or didn't know.......it took a good part of an hour to sort out.....

eventualy we were taken to Dolly at 7.30 which was a bit of a rush as the show starting at 8....all i can say is wow what a wonderful lady and the meet was out of this world....

my advice is get to the box office by 6 (latest as it close at 6) ), get your pass (push for it just in case it's the same lady we had) stay in the box office area, if nobody comes for you go in when the doors open at 6.30 (go into through the door at the box office area) ...make yourself known to the staff as soon as you get your ticket scanned and they will advise where to wait until someone comes for you..............if there are no signs of anyone coming get a member of staff to find out whats happening.......if we hadn't i'm sure the meet and greet wouldn't have happened.

Dolly's staff couldn't apologise enough and had been concerned as to why nobody had turned up for the meet and greet.....they gave us the impression that it was all down to the motorpoint arena staff....
