Nottingham concert
Absolutely amazing, she didn't mime and because I've had her new album since June I knew all the songs so was singing away however did hear some complaints from others that they didn't know the new songs but I think Nottingham crowd were a bit sedate, no one was getting up and dancing, was only at the end, first time ive been to dolly concert where there was not alot of excitement. However I am in Manchester and sheffield so I am sure it will be different and I'm going to get dressed up me thinks for Sheffield. Think only thing she pretended to play was saxophone but she played it at the end which is understandable and I only knew that cos my girlfriend told me cos she is a sax player. Anyway didn't get in till 2am so I am sooooo tired and now getting ready for a shift, was sooooo worth it. I also am skint as spent £200 on merchandise yeeehawww and il prob spend more when I go to others love dolly so much , thankyou for an amazing concert, your awesome absolutely awesome xxxxx

Hiya! I went to Nottingham, first time seeing Dolly, and I thought it was a bit bizzare that no-one was getting up! Was so pleased 9 to 5 got them all going!!
I found the whole concert very moving and was reduced to tears at one song...dont know the name of it....hoping its on the new album I've got on order.
I have loved Dolly for so long, my friends think I'm mad, but I just find her & her music so....relative :)

Hi I've been to last three and I always cry every concert at least once, can you remember any of lyrics and I can try and Suss it out. Yes first time I've been to dolly concert where I was sat for most of it, I had really good seats aswell but for next two I'm going to I've got rubbish seats so I will definitely be dancing, I felt uneasy getting up because was worried incase I was shouted at as everyone behind first 5 rows would have had to stand up hahaha id have been lynched. Did you read my blog about meeting fellow Dollyites well if I get a few we could all meet up and have a night out xxx

Ha, that doesnt make me feel so silly now! No, i'm not sure about the lyrics....I think it was about 2 people meaning to be together, or reflecting on what they had, I can't quite remember, but when I get my CD,hopefully it will be on there and I recognise it. Funny story about the CD - I got home after Nottingham and was on such a high I couldnt get to sleep so I went on line to pre-order the CD. Did it n got a despatched msg from Tesco on Weds. This morning I got the same message but from Play.com...thought i'd been hacked, but then I saw on the Play confirmation that I'd ordered it back in April when we booked the tickets!! LOL - hey, 2 on the way now - least now I'll never be without!!! ha ha.
How does this site work...is there a message board or something or do I have to join up i.e.: pay to see that?
I'm very envious that you're getting to see Dolly again twice! I will have to make it a definite that I go again on her next tour :)

I'm the one on the far right resting my chin on my sister, they are all my sisters and I'm the oldest, haha sounds like something I'd do cd wise. Together you and I , if it's that one then that is one of my fave song, together you and I will stop the rain and make the sun shine, love it the album is really good you will love it. I live in York, well to see these blogs don't you have to pay ???? I paid 20 dollars I think and you can message on the blog and apply to meet dolly when she is on tour, you get a Tshirt I think, all good xx

Ahhhh, driving me mad now that the song reduced me to tears and for the life of me cant recall it!! The whole evening was such a haze really - surreal! I think it may be "together u n I" - wait til I get it blaring in the car then it may find that chord it pulled on Monday. Hope the CD gets here tomorrow - yippeeeeeeee!!!! xx

cool, im going to germany in
cool, im going to germany in december, lanzarote with a group of nurses in april/may and canada in june and always go to lakes at least once a year. my main comp has fried which had my itunes account on so i may need to purchase the album on the ipod because if i download it to my ipod it will wipe my many albums, im very upset about that. so your in a hockey team, i always use to get wacked in the shins at school by this ginger girl called andrea, we didnt like eachother, she is a bloody cheif detective now, glad i dont live near her xxx

Hi emma I remembered reading that you felt really emotional after one partic song at the concert and thought it was Holding everything. OMG I totally agree, I was at Birmingham on friday and although the song wasn't one of my favourites when I first got the album, when they sang it at the concert it was amaaaaazing and now it's one of my absolute faves! :-)
ps have now booked for manchester as can't bear to think I could have to wait years to see her again!!

Hey, sorry for the delay in response, been on holiday. i think it was Holding everything yes, so it is one of my favs, but I also love sacrafice - the chorus just makes me smile as I sing it. I absolutely LOVE the album. Had 3.5 hour flights to & from holiday & listened to Dolly songs the WHOLE way! LOL. Wish I was seeing her again this tour, but its not to be, so I'm going to have to wait :( Hope you have/had a nice time in Manchester :) x
