and they would be crazy not to put out a dvd for the recent tour, think they only filmed Melbourne but i believe it would still be fantastic...even to have a permanant reminder that she actually came over again haha!

I've missed you all - been away due to illness - not me - my laptop was poorly and had to go to tech hosital. Glad to say it has made a full recovery and is safely back in my loving arms.

Movie quote - not sure it sounds as though it might come from Rhinestone or Straight Talk - or even Joyful Noise.

I agree that movies could be harder. In the UK we have missed many due to incompatable formats - sadly we don't get them automatically on PAL (Region 2) - also, whilst we often remember most words in songs and play them often, entire films are a little harder (especially at the rate my brain cells are dying lol)

My copy of Joyful Noise is en-route and should be delivered this week - getting really giddy about it - like a silly school girl.

Instead of completing the Dollyism - how about stating where we heard it - e.g. where the concert was etc. If it is more of a story perhaps we can encourage more to join in - just another though added to the mix. I know lets see if we can get to 100 blogs just suggesting 'stuff' lol.

oooooh i know this one....it's Straight Talk...bloody loved that movie....i actually walked out of the video store with the huge display centre piece (or whatever you call them) of the movie...had a huge pic of Dolly on it it was great....walked out/ran out/stole.....whatever hehe...certainly didn't pay for it but it's not like they didn't see me taking it lol....oh too funny...hey i was a young teenager at the time i'm sure...

Hi Suzanne - No you don't have to answer all three. We have had various suggestions and I can't make my mind up which to use - I will run out of films soon so that will stop me showing off lol.

For the record - yes it was Country is as country does. The film is Steel Magnolias and the Dolly quote is "I'd rather wear out than rust out" and was her response to bing asked if she would ever retire.
